ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- 7 medjoul dates
- 3 tbsp maca powder (or cocoa powder for chocolatey version)
- 1 tsp speculoos spice (alternatively mixture of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup dried morello cherries
- 4 tbsp coconut oil
- 6 tbsp Sweet Freedom FRUIT SYRUP
make
- Pop the first 6 ingredients into your food processor and whizz until finely ground.
- Add the rest of the ingredients (cherries, coconut oil and FRUIT SYRUP) to the processor and whizz briefly until just combined to keep cherries in bigger pieces.
- Roll heaped tablespoons of the mixture into balls.
- Store in an airtight container for a few days or freeze if you want to make a large batch to keep.
