coconut pecan granola
you just can’t beat freshly baked granola packed with delicious and better-for-you ingredients
- 250g oats
- 50g desiccated coconut
- 60g nut butter (choose your fave!)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 85g Sweet Freedom FRUIT SYRUP
- 20g pecans nuts, optional
Preheat oven to 170C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Put oats and desiccated coconut in a large bowl.
Add the nut butter, FRUIT SYRUP, and coconut oil and mix until well combined, then fold in the pecan nuts.
Spread granola in an even layer on your baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes, remove from the oven, gently turn over the granola and then bake for another 10-15 minutes... keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn!
Let cool completely on the baking sheet. The granola will become crisp as it cools.
Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
