nothing says autumn quite like a cosy blackberry & apple crumble!
ingredients
for the filling:
- 200g blackberries, rinsed
- 300g/4 apples, washed & diced
- 3 tbsp Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
for the crumble:
- 100g oats
- 4 tbsp oat flour (blitz the oats until ground)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch of ground nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted (plus extra for greasing)
- 1 tsp baking powder (optional)

- Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan. Lightly grease a baking tin with coconut oil.
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together the blackberries, apple, RASPBERRY SYRUP & ground cinnamon.
- Prepare the crumble by mixing the oats, oat flour, ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg with the RASPBERRY SYRUP and melted coconut oil until well combined.
- Crumble the topping over the fruit mixture to cover in an even layer.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the topping is lightly golden. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before serving with a generous drizzle of RASPBERRY SYRUP. Enjoy!
