ingredients

for the filling:

  • 200g blackberries, rinsed
  • 300g/4 apples, washed & diced
  • 3 tbsp Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP 
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

for the crumble:

  • 100g oats
  • 4 tbsp oat flour (blitz the oats until ground)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Freedom RASPBERRY SYRUP
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted (plus extra for greasing)
  • 1 tsp baking powder (optional)

make 

  1. Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan. Lightly grease a baking tin with coconut oil.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix together the blackberries, apple, RASPBERRY SYRUP & ground cinnamon.
  3. Prepare the crumble by mixing the oats, oat flour, ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg with the RASPBERRY SYRUP and melted coconut oil until well combined.
  4. Crumble the topping over the fruit mixture to cover in an even layer.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the topping is lightly golden. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before serving with a generous drizzle of RASPBERRY SYRUP. Enjoy!
