What happens when you smoosh together two trends: the Dubai choc craze and that Marks and Spencer strawberries and cream sandwich?

Well… you get something weirdly moorish.

Like confuse-your-tastebuds-but-go-back-for-more moorish.

Let’s break it down:

  • Strawberries + Cream = classic summer vibes
  • Pistachio + Strawberry = classy gelato combo
  • Choc + Pistachio = rich, nutty dream
  • Strawberry + Choc = hello dessert heaven

Now smush all four into one experimental bite and… well… honestly, it’s a weird combo. Good weird. Intriguing weird. The kind of this shouldn’t work but it does weird.

why we love chaotic flavour combos

At Sweet Freedom, we LOVE testing new flavour combos (the more chaotic the better). Sometimes, like this sandwich, you take a bite and go “wait… do I like this?”

Then you go back for a second bite.
Then it’s gone.

Who knows. But we’re here for the ride.

P.S. BRB off to test pistachio, strawberry and choc in a toasted croissant. For research, obviously.

Recipe:

  1. Spread your bread with Choc Pot. 
  2. On one side drizzle some Pistachio Syrup, then spread whipped cream (we used vegan) on both sides. 
  3. Cut your strawberries in half, layer onto one side and then sandwich together.
  4. Cut on the diagonal of course!
