ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups jumbo rolled oats
  • 1 cup puffed wheat
  • 3/4 cup flaked almonds
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 cup natural almond butter
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Spray oil

  1. Combine oats, puffed wheat, flaked almonds and apricots in a large bowl.
  2. Heat almond butter, Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup, vanilla and salt in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until coated.
  4. Spray a 9-inch square pan with non-stick spray oil and press mixture into pan. Chill and slice when set.
  5. We added some extra Fruit Syrup for that ‘drizzle’... it’s a Great Taste Award winner!
