ingredients

  • 1 banana, broken into chunks
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 large free range egg (or vegan alternative)
  • 1 tbsp (a generous squeeze!) Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup
  • 25g rolled oats (gluten free if needed)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil for cooking

To serve

  • generous drizzle Sweet Freedom Choc Shot Orange Spice
  • some orange segments
  • a dollop yoghurt of your choice

make

  1. Pop the banana, protein powder, egg, Sweet Freedom Fruit Syrup and oats into a blender and whizz to make the batter.
  2. Heat up half the coconut oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat.
  3. Pour little puddles of batter into the pan – depending on your pancake size and pan size you could get 2-3 pancakes at a time.
  4. Cook for about 1 minute on each side. Remove and keep warm in a low oven, repeat the process with the rest of the batter.
  5. Serve with orange segments and a generous drizzle of Sweet Freedom Choc Shot Orange Spice (or fresh berries and Sweet Freedom Choc Shot, or Sweet Freedom Choc Shot Coconut and a dollop of coconut yoghurt... the list is almost limitless!)
